OPERATIONS CREW STAFF

Those on the operations crew will help with some or all of the following throughout the week:

* life guarding                  * challenge course          * concession stand

Adequate training will be provided for those wishing to be certified as a lifeguard or challenge course facilitator (dates below).  All duties will be assigned by the Program Director the week prior.  Along with those duties, all members will help in regular cleaning, work projects, and service requests to groups wherever they may be needed.  Work includes, but is not limited to:  cleaning rooms, emptying trash, vacuuming, sweeping, stocking toiletry supplies.  Some tasks that require prior training (e.g. using machinery, mowing) may also be assigned.  Maintenance and housekeeping duties are assigned by the Operations Coordinator.  Staff will be scheduled to work 5 days out of the week.  We would like all employees to participate in spiritual growth through Bible studies, prayer groups, or other activities outside of normal work hours.  We strongly encourage all staff to join in our weekly Sunday Night worship.

Our training for lifeguard is TBA;

those with a life guarding certificate or who must receive training from an outside source due to inability to make it to the training, will be given extra instruction during orientation.

Our challenge course training is May 25-29 at the camp.

Those recertifying their AEI certificate can just take the challenge test on May 30th

Operation Crew members will receive anywhere from $250-$305 a week based on experience and training.
